day 876

January the first 2013, is it going to be a better year. Well here i am writing as i wanted to. I made a resolution to get on here every day, so far so good. I also plan to get to bed at a reasonable time, so here's trying!

Diet commenced today. Phew, its not easy is it. Still i have a gigantic task ahead, I'm sure those wretched scales lie! So i am back to weight watchers, on line of course. i have no time to attend classes. I always found them depressing, especially queueing up to be weighed. Hoping and wishing the news would be good. So far i have gained more than i lost. Now hows that possible. Ah well.

I went for two walks today. One with Tim and the hound! and one with my running buddy who is also injured. I'm looking over my shoulder at the gym ball thinking am i going to attempt it tonight? Jury is still out on that. I will however do the back stretches and calf stretches. Oh and i have joined the run around the world in a year group!! the plan is enough of us will run/walk the mileage between us. So far each of us has to run 300 miles in a year. Medal at the end!! Today i clocked up 9.5 miles yay!!!

Its been good to have today off and i actually felt quite chilled. Finished my book, the last of the series. Realised that i have taken since the summer when i had time off to read them all, so I'm looking forward to a change of author!.

Well today has been a mix of rain, sunshine and tonight so cold. Layers is the order of the day!

I'm planning on taking Friday back as time owing, i wonder if that will be successful oh and i must get the forms for the passport! a definite for January, so lots of new things to do for this month.

There is a race coming up on the 13th. Not sure if i will be able to do it, but i should think positively and say i will!. HAVE TO BAKE A CAKE FOR THE DAY AS WELL! Doesn't seem fair considering i will not be able to eat it. Ah well.

Now to do a bit of retail therapy on line Um now what will it be. Yes the hand held roller massage is on the cards. Should get rid of the calf knots.
So today has gone well, but tomorrow is another day........................
